Mangrove Planting

One of the most controversial and political environment issues today is about losing biodiversity. The loss of biodiversity on the planet can be directly related to the behaviors of human beings. Humans have destroyed and continue to destroy the habitats of species on a daily basis. When we exterminate one species, it has a knock-on effect in the food chain which in turn upsets the ecosystems interdependent on one another. The catastrophic impact of loss of biodiversity is likely to affect the planet for millions of years to come.

We all know that everybody wants to change the world, but nobody is ready to change themselves for the world. Perhaps it is time for us to reflect on ourselves and ask, what have I done for Mother Nature?

Well, last April 13, 2018 Harem Employee's joined to the Maynilad activity the "Corporate Social Responsibility: The Mangrove Planting". As per the resource speaker, planting of mangrove is "Buhis Buhay" and yes, it is. But this experience is meaningful to us, because we all know that we've contributed a lot to save our future children and to save our mother earth in a simple way.

Harem employees are not just making all Filipinos look beautiful rather, we also make our environment look beautiful just like what we did.

Looking forward to our daily lives, we can do simple things to save our environment. Just like throwing our garbage in the right place. It is all the little things that matter, and if everyone contributed indirectly, the planet will be a beautiful place to live – less resources needed, less destruction and better environment.
